This year’s Met Gala immortalizes Karl Lagerfeld’s indelible mark in fashion.
The #MetGala2023 saw some of the most stylish men in attendance, with notable mentions going to Bad Bunny for impeccable tailoring, Jackson Wang who channelled Karl, A$AP Rocky in a tartan Gucci ensemble, Rami Malek looking suave in Prada and Cartier accessories, Robert Pattinson pushing fashion boundaries in a Dior half-skirt, and Barry Keoghan flying the checkered flag in Burberry.
The ladies of the 2023 Met Gala were, as per usual, serving elegance and extravagance. “Human Chanel” herself, Jennie Kim, embodied vintage Chanel with a recreation of a 90s’ look. Supermodels like Emily Ratajkowski Anok Yai pranced in show-stopping looks. And of course, the Queen of the Met Gala herself, Rihanna, arrived to create yet another iconic moment clad in immaculate white.
Check out the looks that caught the eyes of the MANTLE team:
Tweed Tales
Bad Bunny
Bad Bunny’s #MetGala2023 ensemble designed by Jacquemus has sent fashion enthusiasts into a frenzy, following his show-stopping appearances at #Coachella.
Bad Bunny’s immaculately tailored, all-white outfit with an impressively lengthy train exudes an air of sophistication reminiscent of the legendary Karl Lagerfeld. The single-breasted blazer, accompanied by a thick tie and tasteful tweed embellishments, is a bold reinterpretation of Chanel’s iconic design language, expertly crafted to capture Bad Bunny’s distinct brand of coolness while still paying homage to Lagerfeld’s visionary style.
Jack Harlow

Sora Choi
All eyes were on Sora Choi as she graced the steps of the Met Gala in layers upon layers of tweed.
Cartier Boys – Jackson Wang and Rami Malek
Jackson Wang wore a Cartier Tank Cintrée Skeleton Ref. WHTA0009 on his wrist and Rami Malek wore Cartier Tank Louis Cartier Ref. WGTA0091.
Trenchcoats
Pedro Pascal continued his hot streak by making a stylish appearance at the Met Gala in a custom trench and shorts look by Valentino, complete with a gold pinky ring, slicked-back hair, and a megawatt smile. Pete Davidson also wore a trench and a bucket hat. Jeremy Strong wore a distinctive fluoro green pendant from Frank Ocean’s jewelery brand Homer and a Richard Mille RM 07-04.
Bows and Bangs
For BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim, the Chanel team made a reinterpretation of Look 164 from Lagerfeld’s Fall 1990 ready-to-wear collection, which just so happens to be a mini dress—Kim’s length of choice. Nicola Pelts Beckham wore Valentino. Emily Ratajkowski wore a plunging tulle gown designed by Tory Burch. Anok Yai wore Prabal Gurung. Sydney Sweeney wore a doll-like pink and black Miu Miu gown.
Black Suits
Roger Federer in Dior and Rolex 1908, the Perpetual 1908 by Rolex, which made its public debut since being announced last month. Federer is the first guy who wore the watch. Robert Pattison also sports Dior, going for a half skirt.
Checks and Icons
Barry Keoghan in Burberry and A$AP Rocky in Gucci. Beside A$AP, the Queen of the Met Gala, Rihanna, dons a custom Valentino silk faille dress featuring a cape covered in thirty giant camellia appliqués made of 500 petals and a billowing train.
