The Perfect Pint just opened a new branch at The Proscenium—and it’s got the resto-pub’s biggest on-site brewery to date.
We can talk for hours about how craft beer is made: what goes into an IPA, flavor profiles, crazy limited-editions, and so on. But at the end of the day, you really just want to sit down and enjoy them. And that’s precisely what The Perfect Pint is all about.
In 2014, the Tempongko brothers — Alec, Raymond, and Noel, Jr. — set out to create a place where people could simply enjoy craft beer. They wanted it to be a place where expertly crafted beers were paired with a good menu. We’re talking wings, ribs, pork knuckles, and the like.

And while they started out just wanting to promote local craft beer, they ended up partnering with Chef Gene Gonzalez to create a full-on resto-pub where people could get the full experience. And so, The Perfect Pint was born.

Recently, the resto-pub opened its newest branch at The Proscenium Retail Row in Rockwell. The new branch is The Perfect Pint’s third one, with the other two in Molito, Alabang and in Greenbelt, Makati. But the opening is just one part of the equation. And if you’re looking for a reason to pay it a visit, we’ve got a list right here.

Award-winning beers
The Perfect Pint’s brews have received a good deal of attention from the international craft beer circuit. Its Equinox Amber Ale bagged the 2019 Asia Beer Championship’s Chairman’s Selection Award, with its combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, and oak. It was also awarded at the 2019 Asia Beer Championships in Bangkok for its smoked malt White Mamba Pale Stout. Meanwhile, the American-style Cacao Kick Stout also nabbed a medal at the Asia Beer Championships back in 2018.
These three are just a small part of The Perfect Pint’s extensive beer selection. There are a lot more to try. And who knows, you could be drinking a future award-winner.

It’s really cozy
There’s a mix of German-inspired traditional pub elements and modern design touches built into the place. The copper-clad bar and tap handles combine with warm lighting and wood tones, making it cozier than you’d expect. And if you sit at the bar, you can see the beer storage tanks where The Perfect Pint’s brews sit after their fermentation.
Oh, and there’s quite a bit of parking. That just won us over.

It’s got the biggest on-site brewery yet
The new branch houses the resto-pub’s biggest on-site brewery so far, with 30 beers on tap— including the three that have won Asian Beer Championships in the past. It’s the most number of craft beers brewed by a single brewery, with everything from pale ales and lagers, to wheats and stouts and porters.
The brewery is fully automated, and the new branch will also offer The Perfect Pint’: 32 oz. crowlers. These are huge beer cans that can be filled and sealed according to preference. And yes, you can take these crowlers home.

Exclusive offerings
The place offers products you can’t find anywhere else: Proscenium Pale Ale, Pan-Seared Scallops, Prawns with Avalar Sauce, Sizzling Pulpo, and Seafood Ravioli.
It’s a chance to experience a new appreciation of craft beer and food pairings with a full restaurant menu that’s only available at Rockwell.

You can actually just hang out
Craft beer is an exercise in precision: from selection to process to product. But here, you can get straight to the good part, pick whatever’s on tap, and pair it with something that’s just as fantastic. Simple as that.
Whether you’re hanging out with your beer connoisseur group, your date, or someone who has no idea what craft beer even is—you can actually just pick a spot and have at it. The Perfect Pint is on a mission to “celebrate life, one pint at a time.” And you can damn well do that right here.
