“AUSPICIOUS BEGINNINGS 88” represents the wishes of good fortune in the Year of the Water Rabbit.
In line with the Lunar New Year, Art Lounge Manila celebrates the arrival of the Year of the Romantic Water Rabbit with “AUSPICIOUS BEGINNINGS 88,” an exhibit that conveys the wish of good luck, peace, stability, and prosperity that the year of the Rabbit is said to bring.
Comprising a selection of creatives brought together by visual artist Addie Cukingnan, the exhibit showcases the diverse subjects and styles of contemporary Filipino-Chinese artists, as opposed to their more traditional counterparts.
