Thinking of giving her flowers for Valentine’s Day? These watches are going to up your game.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. And while the usual chocolates, flowers, and dinner are just about standard at this point, you might want to throw something else into the mix. Especially if you’ve been together for a while. What better way to mark the time you’ve spent together than with something that’s going to keep on ticking for decades?
This year, Omega proposes a couple of watches for the season of love: a classic for the gentlemen and a whimsical one for the ladies. The second one even comes with its own flowers.
De Ville Prestige

The third generation of the De Ville Prestige, this 41 mm watch comes in an 18K Sedna Gold case. The dial is domed, in dark blue, with a sun-brushed finish. Alternating Roman numerals and cabochon indexes mark the hours and seconds subdial at 6 o’clock keep track of the time. A date window at 3 o’clock, meanwhile, gives it a bit more functionality. Everything is powered by the Calibre 8802—a certified Master Chronometer—so you won’t have to worry about accuracy.
De Ville Mini Trésor

The 26mm De Ville Mini Trésor . It’s cased in 18K Moonshine Gold and has a unique Toile de Jouy fabric bracelet decorate with a red floral design. The sides of the case are lined with diamonds, and the floral theme extends to the crown, which has a single diamond surrounded by a red liquid ceramic flower. The dial is made in an off-white “Grand Feu” enamel—a technique where silica powders are fused to the base at great temperatures and applied in layers. Under the case ticks the Calibre 4061, which can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback with a mirror effect and a “Her Time” pattern.
All told, these watches make a fine pair, and will certainly last as long as you want them around.
