
Myth and symbolism come alive in Marge Organo’s delicate glass work.
“Marge Organo: Par Excellence” showcases layered presentations, actual and metaphorical, that embrace earthly associations of the body and the natural world, iconic figures which Marge Organo is renowned for.
Her body of work has always been deeply personal, serving as objects of reverence—be it for family, important life events, or even simply for the emotions they represent.
While her first immersion into art was through painting, she established herself as a visual artist, moving into figurative sculpture and using resin and bronze as her earlier media.


Organo then continued to pursue studies in glass sculpture at the internationally renowned Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, where she was awarded a scholarship in her second year of study.
After the artist’s stint at Corning, she was accepted at the Kamenicky Senov, the oldest glass making school in the world, in the Czech Republic. There, she learned glass casting under the tutelage of veteran artists.


With her use of a delicate medium, Organo’s glass sculptures exude strength with gracefulness. It represents a world of symbol and myth, specific to her artistic voice yet accessible with a universal visual vocabulary, guiding the viewer on their own unique journey.
Her 32-piece exhibition is about the celebration of life and a testimony to its splendor. Coincidentally, this special exhibit also serves as a momentous event in honor of her birthday.
