The new MINI Countryman’s modifications build on its predecessor’s pioneering and iconic features that allowed it to thrive in the premium compact segment
The first-generation MINI Countryman was a pioneer: it was the first model with an exterior length of around four meters, four doors, a large tailgate, five sears, and an all-wheel drive. It charted the path for the British brand’s successful entry toward the premium compact segment; currently, the MINI Countryman comprises thirty-percent of new MINI registrations globally.
MINI’s conquest of additional target groups continues with the new MINI Countryman, which is now available in the Philippines. With design modifications and additional features that optimize space, versatility, functionality, and ride comfort, the current model generation promises another elevated MINI ride—not just in day-to-day traffic, but also on long-distance trips and unsurfaced terrain.
The Countryman Charisma

The new MINI Countryman’s distinctive proportions position it as the brand’s largest model, with its increased ground clearance, upright stature, and typical MINI three-part body structure. The MINI ALL4 exterior look and standard-fit roof rails further underline the versatility of the car.
Exterior redesign tweaks lend to added charisma, too. The new structure of the bumper covering, now entirely in body finish, gives that sleek, premium appearance. The redesigned radiator grille has the classic MINI hexagonal contours, surrounded by a slim, one-piece chrome frame. The radiator grille is characterized by a hexagonal grid pattern with a red “S” and a single chrome strut.

The distinctive, slightly asymmetrically rounded contours of the headlights are accentuated by a continuous band of light that takes on the function of both daytime driving light and turn indicator. The turning light included in the functional range of the LED headlights provides intensive illumination of the side areas of the road when changing direction. The standard trim of the new MINI Countryman also includes LED fog lights, with a light band in the upper semicircle of each fog light serving as a parking light.
With its redesigned bumper trim, the rear apron also contributes to the contemporary look of the new MINI Countryman. The upright rear lights with chrome frame provide that distinct British motif. All lighting functions now feature LED technology as standard, while the graphic structure of the light source traces the pattern of the Union Jack. The flag motif provides a distinctive form of identification – both during the day and in terms of night design.

New body finishes are available for the MINI Countryman White Silver metallic and Sage Green metallic. The roof and mirror caps are deck in black in counterpoint with the body color. Theheadlight surrounds, rear lights, radiator grille and side indicator elements – or side scuttles – are finished in high-gloss black instead of chrome, as are the door handles and the model lettering on the luggage compartment lid. The car is also fitted as standard with 19-inch light alloy wheels in the design variant Turnstile Spoke 2-tone with runflat tyres.
Confidence From Within

The interiors impress, too—three fully-fledged seats are available at the rear, and the second row of seats can also be used to expand transport capacity. By folding down the rear seat with a 40 : 20 : 40 split, storage space can be extended from 450 to up to 1,390 liters. Also in the new MINI Countryman are electrically adjustable seats for front occupants, including a memory function on the driver’s side.

The digital instrument display comes as standard on the new MINI Countryman – the display in Black Panel design behind the steering wheel has a diameter of 5.0 inches. The Connected Navigation Plus, which is also standard on both variants, includes an 8.8-inch color display with touchscreen function located in the central instrument. The circular control unit in the new MINI Countryman exhibits a refined surface look, with a high-gloss black finish, better-integrated buttons, and a seamless audio control panel.
The MINI Countryman’s modified engine—a 4-cylinder petrol engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology—balances driving fun with fuel consumption, with a All model variants of the new MINI Countryman now meet the particularly rigorous Euro 6d emission standard, thanks to tweaks like particulate filters for petrol engines that improve emission performance. The vehicle also features a 7-speed Steptronic double-clutch sport transmission for rapid gear changes and increased shifting dynamics.
