Why read history, when you can live it?

Why care about history lessons from some dusty textbook or dry website? While there are countless history books, it’s always a challenge to make it interesting enough for people to feel invested in people, places, and events from long ago.

Enter the Philippine Living History Society: They believe that there’s no better way to understand and appreciate history than by being right there, in the moment. Here’s an example of how they use reenactment to stay true to their name:
